ONE PROJECT: ONE REALITY

So far, the Alcaidesa corporate group has primarily made its name in the real estate and the tourist sector, with the development of the Alcaidesa Residential Estate as a leading golf tourist resort, equipped with two golf courses (a Links and a Heath-Land course) and its new facilities, including both a driving range and a Clubhouse.

It was in 2003 that the group began its investigations with a view to obtaining the concession for the future Yacht Marina at La Línea de la Concepción, by submitting a specific proposal for the concession. The application procedure continued until 2007. Eventually, towards the end of July of that year, the Algeciras Bay Port Authority awarded Alcaidesa Servicios S.A. the concession to occupy both the land and the water within the La Linea de la Concepción port authority zone, for the construction and management of a water-sports facility for sailing, commercial and recreational purposes.

Following the award, the construction project documentation was produced and the necessary administrative applications were made to begin the works. Works are in full progress and it is foreseen that berths will be delivered in the summer of 2010.
